To everyone that knows or doesn't know us!  More importantly to those who knew Dawn.

On 1st August the 3 of us (The wacky and random crew's) will be tandem jumping together 15,000 feet from a plane over Oxford (with only 20 mins instruction eek!)

We aim to use the jump to raise as much money as possible for Brain Tumour UK (BTUK) in memory of our friend Dawn Simon who passed away at 54 years of age on June 2nd 2009.

Fact: On average, patients with malignant brain tumours lose 20.1 years of their life expectancy. This is significantly more than the 13.6 years lost to leukaimia and 13.5 years lost to breast cancer. In fact, malignant brain tumours claim more years of life, on average, than any other kind of cancer.

Research is grossly underfunded and support for those affected by brain tumours is fragmented and inadequate. The staff, volunteers and supporter work steadfastly to convert this unacceptable situation through action and hope.

You can help the 3 of us make a difference. If you sponsor us you will be enabling BTUK to fund research into brain tumours, to run support groups and a phone helpline for patients and carers. The money we raise will help them to do whatever they can to improve the knowledge and experience for people like us, whose lives have been touched by a brain tumour.
