My story

Hi - many thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

In October 2009 I will be embarking on a trek through the Gran Sabana of south-east Venezuela before climbing to the summit of Mount Roraima in order to raise money for Country Holidays for Inner City Kids (CHICKS).

Mount Roraima and the table-top mountains (tepui's), unique to this part of the world, were the inspiration for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Lost World". I'm hoping to inspire you to sponsor me to complete this challenge and raise money for CHICKS.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Country Holidays for Inner City Kids (CHICKS) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

To see the excellent work CHICKS are doing, please have a look at the video:  http://www.chicks.org.uk/aboutus_detail.asp?ID=290

Thanks for your support!

James
