Cycle Rajasthan · 2 October 2008

Now celebrating it’s 10th year, Southbank Sinfonia is an orchestra which brings together 32 outstanding young music graduates each year, supported by bursaries, for an intensive programme of performance and professional development.

Story

They call it the 'Cycle India Challenge' - with good reason! 500km in 6 days, through the heart of Rajasthan on narrow dirt roads full of potholes in 25-30C temperatures. From 8.30am start until sunset at 5.30pm and camping for three days of the six nights. The material for this trip comes with a set of health warnings and a training schedule which I've been following although I doubt that anything could prepare such an unathletic person for what is in store!

I want to raise the money to provide a bursary for one of our 32 players next year and to have a bit spare to go into our new endowment fund, so PLEASE do contribute, it will be hugely appreciated.
