<p>So this is my challenge...on 15th May I am heading to Namibia to join&nbsp;a team of twelve for a 3 week expedition along the Skeleton Coast. We are covering 400km (on average 8 hours walking&nbsp;per day) over rugged terrain. What makes&nbsp;this particularly tough&nbsp;is that we are all having to carry 35kg of&nbsp;kit, since we are totally unsupported. Also, there is no fresh water, so we have to&nbsp;pump&nbsp;700 litres of&nbsp;seawater&nbsp;to desalinate enough drinking water for the team and this takes 5 hours each night.</p> <p>This groundbreaking expedition has never before been completed&nbsp;unsupported!</p> <p>Please help me to raise money for Combat Stress, an&nbsp;extremely worthwhile charity which provides specialist mental health provision for military personnel who have witnessed traumatic events whilst serving their country.&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks so much for your support, and to&nbsp;all those who have helped me with my preparations for this adventure!</p> <p>Jo</p>
