Between Sunday 25th July and Wednesday 28th July, Jo Felce and Fred Mills are cycling the Coast to Coast route, from sea to shining sea from Workington in Cumbria to Tynemouth, Tyne & Wear. The journey is about 140 miles and covers some of the lumpiest terrain in the UK.
The reason for this madness (aside from it being the latest manifestation of our collective mid-life crises) is to celebrate and commemorate the life of Anne Webb, Jo's lovely wife who was so cruelly and prematurely taken from us last Summer. We are hoping to raise a decent sum for Cancer Research UK as a result of this folly in the hope that our small contribution goes some way to helping prevent the loss of other talented, charming, intelligent caring and loving wives and mothers in the future. We do hope that you will take pity on us and show your largesse by sponsoring us through this page.
