My story

Joanna Charlton-Hall

Tragically passed away 6 May 2011 aged 44

It is now well over six months since my gorgeous loving wife Joanna was cruelly & suddenly taken from us whilst travelling with me on mv Arcadia (an unexpected DVT caused a fatal pulmonary thromboembolism)

I am staggered and humbled by how much money had been donated in her memory - I can only thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Your kind donations will help fund research to try and prevent blood clots and also to raise public awareness of the dangers. If we can save just one more person from this common and potentially lethal condition, we have made a difference.

IMPORTANT - If you only do one thing, please read the Lifeblood charity website and educate your family & friends on the dangers of blood clots as they can affect anyone at any age.

Jo brought happiness to so many people during her life and is terribly missed. She was my precious soul mate, especially during the 4 years we had together when she was my beautiful, loving, caring and irreplaceable wife.

Thank you - David

Dear David. Life can be very cruel at times, but better to have known and loved her, than never to have met. The time will come when you will look back at your memories and smile, that's what Jo would want. All our love to you.
