Story

Hiya! Thanks for visiting my justgiving page... I have just returned home from my 3rd trip to Rwanda with the charity I have been involved with for a number of years Rwanda Restored (www.rwandarestored.org) ... Whilst in Rwanda, one of my main activities is to teach English in Gihogwe Secondary School. The charity has built this school from scratch with no government funding, and the building work is still ongoing - hence my fundraising page!

So my fundraising challenge that I have set myself is to live like a Rwandan for a month (food wise) and only eat rice and beans! The month will start from the 1st to the 30th of September 2011.

Please please donate no matter how big or small - anything you can give is amazing, but be generous if you can! as we are currently raising money for the foundations for the girls dormitory block which we need to finish by the end of the year in order to be able to take in more students, many of whom will be orphans.

Thank you so much, many of you will know that this cause is very close to my heart, I can't tell you how grateful I and the students are for your donation and I can't stress enough how worthy this cause is!

Lots of love Jo x
