Well I started off with really good intentions and managed a 4.5 mile walk and followed it up 2 days later with a 3.5 mile walk then the weekend came and my lovely Hubby said that I absolutely had to take advantage of the fact that it was the weekend and that I should be resting - so I did. I have how ever done many short walks of 2 or 3 miles so am feeling quite happy at the mo. Have a new pair of trainers that I am also trying to break in still not long now only 25 days to go I really must step up the training....................yep get right to it after I've watched the latest episodes of Desperate Housewifes. Will keep walking x

THE BLISTERS SISTERS ARE HERE!!!!!!!

For those of who that don't know I am running as part of double act, my partner in crime is Donna and we are known as The Blister Sisters. It's all Donna's fault that we are walking 13miles at midnight in less than 2 weeks time - help. If you would like to sponser either of us or both of us together please please do so.

I walking 4.5 miles straight on Sunday and it took me 1.5 hours. My feet hurt or was it my hip hum maybe it was my knee. ok it all hurt but still I was fine by Monday - not! Only 11 days to go and if that Sunday walk was only a third of what we are actually doing I think I am going to stash a bike somewhere along the course!!!

Walked form my house to the winkwell last week (a pub) 3.5 miles in just under an hour. Not bad would like to think I took a steady pace and could keep it up. If so would be looking at just under the 4 hours time slot. However as rain is forecast today and allnight I might slow it down. I am looking forward to it and have my pink cowboy hat at the ready!!!!

Will let you all know how I did at some point next week ..............................wish me luck as you wave me goodbye!!!!!!
