<p>On April 22 2012 I am joining thousands of other runners when I take part in the London marathon. This will be my first ever marathon and I am looking forward to the personal challenge.My training is going well so far and can t wait for the big day</p>
<p>I was fortunate to get a place for the marathon through my running club, the Barnsley Harriers. However I have decided to try and raise some money along the way.</p>
<p>My chosen charity is going to be The Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Recently a running friend sadly died when she was knocked off her bike. The air ambulance attended the accident and took her to hospital since then family and friends have been raising money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance .So I thought with the help from my family friends and colleagues we could try to raise some more much needed money for the Air ambulance.</p>
