BUPA Great Manchester Run · 17 May 2009 ·

Every 2 hours, someone in the UK sustains a spinal cord injury. Their world – and that of their family – is turned upside-down. SIA aim to reach everyone affected by spinal cord injury, to connect them to all the help and support they need to life a fulfilled life.

Story

Hi friend,

I've been training hard since the new year for the Great Manchester Run in May (10K) to raise money for the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA), the leading national charity for spinal cord injured people.

SIA's aims are to:

    * Offer support and assistance from the moment of injury and for the
rest of a paralysed person's life
    * Provide services to increase an individual's quality of life
    * Increase knowledge and awareness of the causes and consequences of
      spinal cord injury
    * Campaign for the best medical and social care for spinal cord
      injured people

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Spinal Injuries Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer,  Don't forget your giftaid.

I would be very grateful for any sponsorship you can spare!
