Ethiopiaid's objectives are to relieve poverty and sickness, to preserve and protect health and to advance education amongst Ethiopians who are in need. Ethiopia is one of the world's poorest countries, and relies on overseas aid and the work of charities in order to provide basic services.

My aim is to raise £1000 to cover the cost of travelling out to Ethiopia for 1 week as part of a team of 11 who will be working very closely with various projects supported by Ethiopaid. For me it will be a chance to give something back and realise Im lucky and privelidged and hopefully I will be able to add some real benefit in the time I am there to people who arent so lucky!
