I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year to help raise money of this amazing charity.  Having lost a close friend and family to this illness and knowing many people that have actually beat this illness,  it makes you realise that without charities like this one we would not have the means to do life-saving research.  Fortunately, due to awareness and on-going funding more and more people are able to say that they have battled and conquered this illness than ever before!
