Hi my name is Joanne, Im doing a trek along with my friend to the home of the delai lama in the himalayas to raise money for Martin House Childrens Hospice, which is where my nephew Jack died after being born with a condition called spinal muscular atrophy. Jack went to Martin House along with his parents and sister, during his time there he received excellent medical care, and love by the staff.Also Martin House offers care, counselling and a home to the rest of the family in a hope to allow families to be together in a loving environment without the stresses and strains of everyday chores and work etc...The staff at Martin House are angels in disguise and looked after my family and we all will be eternally greatful. Therefore i want to offer my support and raise money to help other families who are going through what we went through, but i need your help to raise as much money as possible.
