Flora London Marathon 2008 · 13 April 2008 ·

Brake is a national road safety charity that cares for road victims and campaigns for safer roads for all. Brake's National Road Victim Service is a specialist support service to help families cope with the shock, turmoil and devastation that road crashes cause families across the UK every day.

Story

Hi! Quick update - It's Friday 11 April and I just wanted to say thanks for helping me reach the target - please don't let it put you off if you'd like to sponsor me though, all donations for Brake gratefully recieved! Fingers crossed for Sunday ;)

*****

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page which is designed to raise £££ for the road safety charity Brake on the basis of me completing the Marathon!

Brake is a really worthwhile cause that needs more support to help spread the road safety message to both young and old. Every day, there are nine deaths and 82 serious injuries on UK roads. Brake’s mission, and my wish, is to save others from the unnecessary pain of losing someone in a road accident, as well as to help care for those affected by one. For more information on Brake, look to the left, or visit www.brake.org.uk.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Brake, the road safety charity will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support, Jo
