I'm running them to raise awareness of the 17 babies who die each day in this country. My daughter Emmeline was born prematurely at 24 weeks and only blessed this earth for a few short hours. Like many thousands of babies each year we still don't know why she didn't survive.  The money that we raise at Sands helps to fund research into why so many little ones just don't make it.
