Story
I did it!
It was the hottest London Marathon on record (or equal hottest depending on which paper you read) so the conditions were tough but I crossed the line in 3 hours and 51 minutes. And I can actually say that I enjoyed it! The crowd were amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic. The last few miles were tough (and endless!).
Thank you so much to all of you who came out to support. Especially Mum, Dad and Auntie Bee who nearly missed me at miles 13 and 22! Finbarr who I couldn't miss with his banner at miles 6, and with Dai and Rach in tow at 19 (twice) and with 800m to go and Sooz at miles 16 and 18.
It was a great day and thanks so much to all my sponsors. I will let you know the grand total raised once all the money has been collected.
