Trailwalker 2009 · 18 July 2009 ·

The Gurkha Welfare Trust is the leading Gurkha charity. We provide financial, medical and community aid to relieve poverty and distress among retired Gurkha soldiers, their families and their wider communities.

Story

For the third time I completed TRAILWALKER in the middle of July.

It was 100 km - 62 miles over the South Downs from Petersfield to Brighton.  The Gurkha Welfare Trust and Oxfam are likely to raise in the region of £1M; fantasitc for one days activity.

We finished 26th out of 430 teams in just over 15 hours.

My Rifle Company from 2 RGR are putting four teams in and we aim to raise £8K between us.

I would be very grateful for any donations for these worthy casuses.
