Cerebral Palsy Cymru is Wales’s leading cerebral palsy charity. We provide specialist therapy to babies and children who have or are suspected of having cerebral palsy. We also provide a family support service which offers practical and emotional support to those who need it.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Those of you who know me well, will know that a year ago I could barely run half a mile. One drunken New Year's Resolution later and I'm running 13.1 miles at the Cardiff Half Marathon on Sunday 19th October 08.

I've chosen to raise money for Bobath Childrens Therapy Centre Wales because of a very special little boy I know named Morgan Philp. Morgan was born 3 months premature, weighing just 1lb 12 in April 07. He suffered two major bleeds on his brain and spent many months in intensive care in the University of Wales hospital. Now at 18 months old, Morgan is a happy healthy little boy but has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.

Bobath is supporting Morgan and as each therapy session costs thousands of pounds, fundraising is vital.

Thanks to all of you for donating and please know that its going to be so very much apppreciated by me and Morgan.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Bobath Childrens Therapy Centre Wales gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Peace and Love
