<p>JOE'S HALLOWEEN CHARITY EVENING!!</p>
<p> The Halloween Evening was a brilliant night with about 60 people attending and everyone was very giving whilst having an amazing night! The raffles and games and auction raised £6070 which is an amazing amount!! We have sent the money to the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust and feel now that the money raised on the night along with the Just Giving page will go towards research and hopefully make a difference. Thank you all for supporting this cause.</p>
<p>As some of you are aware, Leigh and Stephen's son Joe was diagnosed out of the blue with a brain tumour days before his 4th Birthday last November. This was a total shock for everyone.</p>
<p> Joe was immediately admitted to the Sick Kids Hospital in Edinburgh where he underwent numerous tests,scans and life saving brain surgery to remove the tumour. He then went to America for Proton Therapy Treatment for 3 months. Joe's last MRI scan was clear and is recovering well from his surgery and treatment. He continues to enjoy every aspect of life and is a very 'happy', 'cheeky' 4 year old despite everything he has been through.</p>
<p> Brain tumours are very rare in children, so very little money is spent on research. Because of this we are trying to raise money for research and awareness into this terrible disease.</p>
