Windsor Half Marathon Group - In aid of 'Born Too Soon'
Fundraising for Born Too Soon Fund
Story
On the 26th September 2010, thousands of finely tuned athletes will be taking part in the Windsor Half Marathon.
Alongside these athletes will be nine others !
The boys (Russell Harris, Ben Fahey, Louis Harrison, Tom Connors, Barry Fitzgerald, Adrian Corke, Neil Scammell, Kevin Moran and John Corey) are running for the 'Born Too Soon' charity, which is the charity attached to the Neo-Natal unit at Kingston Hospital.
After our son Jed was born, the neo-natal unit at Kingston Hospital looked after him for just over seven weeks and made sure he became strong enough to come home to us.
Along with many other families each year, we owe an awful lot to the amazing staff at the unit.
The 'Born Too Soon' Charity raises money for much needed equipment to help the sick and premature babies.
We truly thank anyone who wants to donate (any amount of) money to help support the charity that helped Jed,and hundreds of other sick and early babies each year.
Funds raised for 'Born Too Soon' will be donated in memory of Jed's twin, and our son, Joe.
