Story
Hi there
On July 20th I am planning to cycle the Cheshire Ring Canal route in aid of SANDS, a charity who help and support people affected by the stillbirth or death of a newborn baby.
This is something that affected myself in the past and more recently, close friends so I thought I'd do something to give a bit to a charity that helps in the worst circumstances.
The route I'm planning to do will take me from the canal behind my home in Audenshaw on a route via Marple, Macclesfield, Stoke, Middlewich, Preston Brook, Lymm back through Altrincham and Stretford to Manchester and back home. The aim is to do it in around 10 - 12 hours.
All in all its 97 miles, and while its not exactly tough terrain, its a good days cycling by most peoples standard. For a rough guide its approx the distance from Ashton-U-Lyne to Windermere....
So if you could donate anything that you can, no matter how small, it would be appreciated.
If anyone out there would like to join in then get in touch on facebook you'd be more than welcome.
Thankyou for listening.....
