Story

Please may I take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Joe Elliott and on the 11th October 2009 I shall be taking part in the Enzo Ferrari Marathon in Italy.

I will be running this in order to raise money for Help The Aged. I am doing this because on the 11th July 2009 I lost an amazing friend known most as Fisk. Anthony Jonathon Fisk aged just 22 years old tragically passed away following a fall in Serbia whilst attending the Exit Music Festival.

Fisk held this charity close to his heart and was actively involved in raising funds for Help The Aged. He had planned to cycle from Hull To Liverpool to raise funds for Help The Aged. Taking into consideration Fisk’s untimely passing and the fact that he had planned to raise more funds for Help The Aged I am taking it upon myself as a friend of his to continue his wishes and raise funds for this worthy cause.

Fisk was loved by so many and this tragic event has affected so many. He may have only been 22 years old but he certainly lived those 22 years to the full, always smiling and laughing he was a fantastic person and a credit to his family and friends.

Fisk may be gone but in running this marathon in Italy on the 11th October 2009 I am continuing the very good work that he had already started. So Fisky, for one final time, this one is for you…

Help The Aged are an international charity that fight to free older people from poverty, isolation and neglect.

Regardless of the amount all sponsors are much appreciated and please take satisfaction from the fact that not only are you helping a worthy cause but you are also helping Fisk in his final fundraising event.
