Hi I'm Joe and I am 9 years old and on Saturday 4th July I climbed Mount Snowdon with a group of schoolfriends and did what we promised by dragging our old Dad's along behind us! Yes, I whipped the old man's a*** and got to the summit first. Satisfaction complete!
Despite driving rain and strong cold winds which continued all day, I completed the walk up on the Pyg Track. It took just over two and a half hours to reach the summit and just under two and a half hours to get down again. Everybody was absolutely soaked before we had even left the car park at the bottom but we all made it to the summit with nobody giving up.

I am raising money for Myasthenia Gravis, which is a very rare neurological disease which causes paralysis. My mother was diagnoised with this when she was twenty, but thanks to a wonderful team of specialists and major surgery recovered, which is virtually unheard of as it is usually incurable. I am glad as she would'nt have had me or my older brother or sister, had she not recovered.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Myasthenia Gravis Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
