On Sunday 10th August 2008 I will be competing in the Olympic Distance London Triathlon (1500m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run). I am hoping to raise £2500 for IDE-UK, a charity that helps farmers in the developing world bring themselves out of poverty by helping them to gain access to the water, credit and farming knowledge they need to increase their yields and have enough food to sell at market.
Your donation will thus help the world to meet the first UN Millennium Development Goal: to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.
