Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Earlier in the year my Dad had major heart surgery followed by an extended stay in intensive care at the London Chest Hospital. At times like that you realise how undervalued their research, expertise and kind care are.
What better way to say thanks than to generate some much needed support through a 10K run on Father's day!
So Sunday 15th June I did a few laps of Victoria Park (a extremely large park in east london). Even though I am not one of life's nature runners (my genes and a over healthy appetite saw to that), and did little to no training, I dugg deep and managed to finish in 1hour & 1 minute!
The next day I could hardly walk :(
P.S Now day 2: still can't walk properly! I'll never be able to tap dance again.....
