Hello Everyone,

As some of you already know I have decided to run marathons to raise as much money as possible for the Variety Club Children's Charity. Having worked with diabled and disadvantaged children in the past I was keen to give something back to those much less fortunate than myself.

Starting with the Tokyo Marathon on March 22nd, Loch Ness Marathon in October and finally the Marathon des Sables or Marathon of the Sahara, billed as the toughest footrace on earth...150 miles in 6 days running across the Sahara Desert..I aim to not only survive but try and enjoy the amazing experiences along the way!!

If you are able to part with some hard earned cash I would be very grateful and I know that the Variety Club will put it all towards good use in their mission to bring sunshine into the lives of youngsters.

I am paying for ALL my expenses, flights, accommodation etc for every marathon I complete so all money raised will go directly to the Variety Club.
