Joelle and I are attempting a half marathon in October.  We have never ran before, Joelle in fact has never even seen inside a gym, and we both share a love of cake and cheese.  I think you all have to agree, that this will be no mean feat.  It would help if we got some money on our side, so at least we will be slightly more motivated to give up the chips and cheese!

The half marathon is the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 11th October. So far we are approximately 13.1 miles away from being ready for it!

We will be updating our progress for you as it promises to be a rather amusing challenge for all - excluding ourselves!

 

..........So the race is now only a few weeks away and we are a few more miles into the training than we were before. It will definitely be a struggle for both of us.

Luckily there haven't been any major injuries - just some very unattractive blisters - thank god it is winter and we can cover up those feet!

We still need everyone's support to push us off the sofa and out of the front door for training especially now that the weather is turning.
