Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page. for those who don't know, my brother was killed in a car crash just before christmas 2009. Now I feel I should do something that I would never have done before. My good friend Ellis is doing the run with me, he didn't ask if he could do it with me, he told me! in his own words "I dont care what we sleep in, I dont care which way we go, nothing's going to stop us trying hard".

Ellis and I will attempt to run from Tywyn to Shrewsbury and back, starting on the morning of Tuesday 6th of April at the Tywyn Air Ambulance shop at 7.30am and finishing approximately 175 miles and 9 days later at the same place. All money raised will go to the Wales air Ambulance in memory of Joe.

"You must be strong now, You must never give up. And when people make you cry and you are afraid of the dark, don't forget the light is always there"

Chris Pomeroy and Ellis Melia

About the charity

The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.
