St Raphael's Hospice offers the best of palliative care to terminally ill patients in south west London and Surrey. Medical, nursing and support staff do everything possible to relieve pain and sustain quality of life in an atmosphere of peace and comfort, for patients of all faith or none.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. On 2 November I set out to Rajasthan in India with about 40 other intrepid souls to cycle approx. 320 miles in six days, in temperatures of 95 to over 100 degrees, to raise money for a truly wonderful charity, St Raphael's Hospice, a heaven on earth for those in their last days on earth. The dedicated and loving staff at St Raphael's care not only for those in the last stages of terminal diseases such as cancer but also for their loved ones who often need as much help when faced with losing someone so dear to them.

The Hospice needs £3.5m per annum to function and only 28% comes from the NHS. All the rest is raised through voluntary donations, fundraising etc, so please give generously, and then give some more, if you can. Who knows, one day you may need their caring services, either for a relative or for yourself!!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Raphael's Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now! AS I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE RIDE!!
