Jo's Parachute Jump · 29 May 2009

LondonWRC is one of the clubs in London and the South East, and we aim to provide opportunities through wheelchair rugby for disabled people at a social level all the way up to Paralympic glory. Elite players inspire whilst players of all standards enjoy the recreational and social benefits.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On 29th August this year I will be doing a parachute jump from 10,000 feet to raise money for the London Wheelchair Rugby Club.  Your sponsorship money will support members of the club who have been injured playing rugby or in car/diving accidents.

£50 will keep a player in gloves for a year, £100 would help support membership for new players and £4,000 will provide a rugby chair for a new or existing player. I am aiming to raise a minimum of £150 for the LWRC and any amount of sponsorship you can give will be greatly received.

At the moment, there are just two of us jumping, but if this is something you would like to do and fancy raising money for a charity of your choice, please visit Skyline Parachuting and enter your details, mentioning my name when asked. We will be jumping on 29th August at Headcorn Parachute Club, near Maidstone, Kent.

Thank you very much for your time and your support in quite possibly the scariest thing I will ever do!
