Shining Life Children’s Trust helps children in Sri Lanka who are disadvantaged by poverty and vulnerability. Working in partnership with small, local, non-governmental organisations, it promotes child-focused development, education, health and training within a family and community context. Its aim is to achieve sustainable development through encouraging self-help, self-reliance and empowerment.

My personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I cycled over 60 miles around the Solent on Saturday 14th June.  This was rather more than the advertised 56 miles that we'd been lead to believe it wouuld be!  However we all got round, no one missed any of the six ferries we had to catch, and most of us can still walk and even sit down!  This was all in aid of Shining Life Children's Trust, a charity that helps children in Sri Lanka. 

Even though I have now completed my challenge it is not to late to sponsor me.  For those who have already kindly agreed to sponsor me please feel free to donate through Justgiving as you may find it easier than giving me the cash!
