Update: Completed the challenge . It was a gruelling and exhilarating experience in equal parts. Getting off the boat at 4am in the dark to start cycling over 100 miles to Paris was quite tough after no sleep on the boat and I never ever want to see a gel, nut-bar or banana or isotonic drink ever again.
