Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Last year was a huge success and this year is set to be even bigger. John Power and Chris Arden are two local rugby league lads who grew up playing the game together.

John who (34) signed for Oldham whilst Chris (34) signed for Salford pre Super League.  We both started playing for Mayfield when we was young with the likes of Ian Knott and Scully and made lots of friends for life through the game.

John suffered a spinal injury back in 1995 playing for Oldham which has left him wheelchair bound, but with the help of friends and family he has always been positive and with the help of life long friend Chris they are going to help raise money for tryAssist which helps RL players who have sustained life changing injures.

John and Chris are going to row an indoor rowing marathon between them at:

The Zone, Huddersfield on the 21st July

So please dig deep and donate now.
