Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page..

As many of you know, but for those that didn't, about 5/6 years ago I decided (with much prompting from Vicki) to try and get a little healthier. This was an interesting task given that I was the wrong side of 35, overweight, drinking like a fish and chuffing on 40 a day!

Spurred on by an upcoming beach holiday and insane vanity, I started on a journey of discovery - waistline, fresh breath, wardrobe and sensory revival to name but a few... 

Within a short time I became hooked on the whole health kick carry on and even joined a gym. This new found love soon became obsession and without my dose of endorphins and sweaty gym kit at the start of every day I was without cause.

As the body and mind started to accept their fate, I decided to take up new challenges and competition to push for athletic prowess! Now, with a few achievements under my belt, 2010 is the year that will set new personal levels of performance.

As part of this years programme I shall be running the London Marathon for a very worthy cause.. Shelter is a national charity supporting the homeless people of the UK.

In these worrying times, I realise that giving to charity can be difficult when we all have our own to look after, but I believe that by asking you to donate for this one event will be money well spent and received.
