So the dead is done. What a treat, the weather was kind, but not too kind to deprive us of some stories!

It's never too late to add to the cause.

JOGLE (John O'Groat's to Lands End, who's idea was this, the sensible folk go LEJOG, Lands End to John O'Groat's, cycling with the wind!!!!) we have (hopefully) put together a scenic route, minor roads, canal paths, cycle ways & John's special short cuts (they have to be experienced to be believed!!!!). All we need to do is successfully navigate the chosen path. We are praying for good weather through Scotland, the first leg, takes use along white sandy beaches, with not a Grockel (holiday maker, wonder what they call them up there?) in site & then along a remote valley, for 34 miles from the North sea to the East (almost, stretch the imagination a little!), supposed to be the best place in Scotland to see Golden Eagles, I recon a couple of cyclists, constitutes 'meals on wheels' for them!.

All we want is fine weather for this & then the leg along the Isle or Arran, where they tell me; Red deer & Sea Otters are a frequent site. Ooooo I hope so. Knowing our luck, the rain will be coming down sideways & the sea fog so dense we won’t be able to see the front wheel. A common occurance, up by John O'Groats so they say.....

So go on, support our stupid idea & these wonderful local charities. Follow our blog & laugh yourself silly for a couple of weeks as we limp our way down the country.
We intened to get a daily map up of our progress, it should update regularly during the day, phone signal allowing, upload some pics & even write a little ditti to amuse & tickle your fancy. Your appriate your sofa even more.....

We'd love to see you at some point, why not throw the bike in the car & join us for a while? A day, ½ day, hour or just for a cup of tea, or something considerably stronger........
