John and Naome are donning their running shoes and pouring onto the streets of Manchester on the 18th May 2008 to take part in the grueling 10k Great Manchester Run in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
A charity close to their our own hearts as Johns niece suffers from this hereditary disease so they want to raise as much money as possible which allows Johns niece to look forward to a brighter future.
Cystic fibrosis damages the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, and affects more than 8,000 people in the UK.
The money raised will all go towards the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, which funds research into treating and curing the condition.
The charity also helps provide support, advice and appropriate care to the 8,000 people living with cystic fibrosis in the UK.
