"Your support is killing Cancer" 

With my running days over and the completion of the London Marathon 30 years ago, it has been my ambition for many years, to walk 'the Coast to Coast Walk' (198 miles). On 28th June 2013, I will  be 70 and I would like to celebrate this by realising this ambition.

I will be doing the walk over 14 days, beginning at St Bees, Cumbria on Thursday 13th June and finishing at Robin Hood's Bay on Wednesday 26th June.

Over the past few years many of my friends, family and work colleagues have been touched by Cancer, some have thankfully recovered or are on their way to recovery, whilst others have not been so fortunate.

I would like to mark my walk by collecting as much money as I can for Cancer Research UK in the belief that their work will help to eradicate this disease.
