Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At last I am doing something about a pilgrimage I have wanted to make for some time now; to walk the Camino St Jacques or Way of St James to Santiago de Compostela, well at least part of it.  I will be starting out from Leon on Thursday 13th May and plan to arrive 170 miles later on Wednesday 26th May. 

Rather than just walk it, which I am sure will be rewarding enough, I am offering it up with sponsorship to the Harrogate Homeless Project, a charity I have known about for some years but was recently moved to do more for by a truly inspiring talk on their work .  If you want to know more they have their own website at http://www.harrogate-homeless-project.org.uk/ .  Please help this most worthwhile cause by sponsoring my walk.
