News update 7 - New York !

Completed the run arround the city in 3:59:25 - It was very emotional crossing the line.

News update 6 - Great North Run complete

Completed the great north run 1hr 34 mins 15 seconds - Wahoo!

News update 5 - Sky Dive AFF 4 Complete

Although the english weather was intent upon thwarting me I managed to jump out of a little plane at 14 000 ft 6 times now I've passed the first 4 levels ... so I'm half way there ... I've got a DVD as proof!! Check it out on the left!!

News update 4 - Booked Flights!!!

At last I have booked my flights!! Wahoo! 350 quid with Virgin Atlantic. I've also got an official race entry number of "311641" and I'm staying at the POD hotel arround the race day.

Becuase I didn't do anything crazy last year I've decided to be double crazy this year so as well as the marathon I'm going to do the AFF sky diving course which involves 18 free fall jumps hopefully more people will sponsor me when they see I'm jumping out of planes its now booked for the 18th August 2008 with the black nights.

WHAT AM I DOING??

I've entered the New York City Marathon and the Great North Run to raise money for for phab kids http://www.phabkids.co.uk/

Phab help children with physical disabilities. Its the same charity I ran for when I did the great north run in 2005. I've chosen this charity becuase I used to do lots of work with a children's play group back in my duke of ed days.
