John and Jason both successfully completed the half-marathon in good time.  They're a little tired but happy to have finally done it.

Thanks to all of you for your support.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Friends,

John and I are running (using the loosest meaning of the word) the new Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon on Sunday 12th October 2008 and we would be grateful for your support for the Salvation Army who we are running for.

We have chosen to raise money for the work of the International Development department of the Salvation Army.  The money will go direct to a bore-hold project in Zimbabwe.   A bore-hole is where a hole is drilled down to between 40-60 metres to find the water table and then a hand pump is fitted at ground level giving a whole commuity fresh water.  For more information on their work, please visit www.salvationarmy.org.uk/id.

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. Please sponsor us if you are able.  Why not make it more interesting by promising more if we beat a certain time!?

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Salvation Army gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thanks again,

John / Jason
