My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

That's it, it's all over.  The trek is complete.  It was hard and steep at times and extremelly hot all the time but it was all worth it to raise much needed funds to assist in the research towards PD.

I undertook to complete this 5 day challenge, raising funds for the Parkinson's Disease Society in honour of my good friend Brian Berry (who has a very aggressive strain) and is dear to my heart and for a partner of someone whom I trekked in China with. I thought it was time to continue paying forward a little and hence this fundraising venture.
I would be most appreciative if you could find it in yourself to assist me in this challenge.

I've done my bit now it's your turn - send me a donation before my page is closed.  Every penny helps so please help me to help others.

Please dig deep and sponsor me online NOW.

Many thanks for your support.

Parkinson’s UK

Charity Registration No. 258197 and Scotland SC037554

Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson’s. Because we’re here, no one has to face Parkinson’s alone. We bring people with Parkinson’s, their carers and families together via our network of local groups, our website and free confidential helpline. Specialist nurses, our supporters and staff provide information and training on every aspect of Parkinson’s. As the UK’s Parkinson’s support and research charity we’re leading the work to find a cure, and we’re closer than ever. We also campaign to change attitudes and demand better services. Our work is totally dependent on donations. Help us to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
