Post race update:

Just a quick note to say thank you ever so much for sponsoring or supporting me in the Great North Run yesterday. I really was inspired and humbled by your sponsorship and messages of support.

It was a great day, nice sunny weather but with a cooling (some would say chilly) breeze. I managed to  finish in 2 hours 13 minutes and 56 seconds which is 10 minutes faster than last year.

With the sponsorship on the web site and on the form I’ve been carrying around, between us  we’ve managed to raise almost £1200 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust once gift aid is taken into account.

Thanks once again – it’s all been for a very good cause.
