Three Bridges Motorcycle Challenge · 11 February 2009

At YBTC, we walk beside anyone impacted by a brain tumour diagnosis through every step of their journey. Our local support brings comfort, care, and hope to families across Yorkshire- while our local research and investment in 'pump priming' brings us closer to kinder treatments and a cure.

Story

It’s 10 years since I had my first operation to remove a brain tumour.  As a way of celebrating this milestone and giving something back to support research into the causes of Brain Tumours, I am organising a sponsored motorcycle challenge.

The challenge is for me and a small group of freinds to ride over 3 Bridges –  Humber, Forth & Severn starting and finishing at the same place all within 24 hours.  The total distance to be covered according to route taken will be almost 1,000 miles.

Starting at Ferrybridge Service Station at  08:00 on Thursday 21 May 2009 returning there 24 hours later having completed the challenge.

All monies raised will go to Lord Mayor of Leeds Charity—Andrea’s Gift supporting brain tumour patients and research in Yorkshire.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Andrea's Gift gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
