Story

Hello!

When I first though about doing the GNR it was more a challenge to myself but it occured to me: 'why shouldn't someone else also benefit?'. I have no direct connection to St Andrew's Hospice but I know what a fanatastic job they do for the patients and their families/carers and couldn't think of a more deserving charity in my local area. They don't charge a penny for their services and no one is turned away; they are almost entirely dependent on charitable donations to cover their running costs (approx. £700,000 a year for the children's hospice alone).

If you want to know more about the work of St Andrew's Hospice, please go to their website at: www.standrewshospice.com

Please look into your hearts (and even deeper into your pockets!) and make a donation, no matter how small. By doing so you can rest safe in the knowledge that you've done a really good thing today.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Andrew's Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
