Trans Pennine Adventure · 9 May 2007

We’re the national charity that’s here to support every child and young person with experience of the care system. They tell us what’s not working. Together, we fight to make change happen.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

The Who Cares? Trust is a registered charity and all the money we raise from this ride will go to the Trust to help improve the lives of children and young people in public care. This year we will be supporting a project called the Believe in Me Awards in which children in care nominate exceptional people in their lives for an award. The award ceremony will be in July 2007 and Biking for Children in Care will be a significant sponsor.

Last year the funds we raised went towards publication of health and drugs information booklets. We also supported the ‘Journey Home’ project.

The 2007 Biking for Children in Care ride will be crossing the Pennines on the Trans Pennine Trail (TPT) from Southport to Hornsea. You can check out the route on www.transpenninetrail.org.uk.  We will be biking about 220 miles in three and a bit days.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Who Cares? Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.  So please sponsor us now!  Many thanks for your support.
