Story
Welcome to my JustGiving page.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm John Jenkins an Inspector living in Norfolk. I've worked for the RSCPA for 12 years, firstly in Lincolnshire and now in a group that covers Norfolk and Suffolk. I'm proud to be part of a dedicated group helping to prevent cruelty and neglect while promoting good animal welfare.
Throughout my time in the Society I have faced many challenges, learning to lamb during the Foot and Mouth outbreak, catching and carrying sick seals from the beaches and dealing with large scale neglect of farm animals.
For those of you who do know me you'll know I've recently gone part-time to get bossed around by my 28 month old son,Scott. However my commitment to the RSPCA, its staff and the animals remains the same. Amongst some of the difficulties I will face preparing for the climb will be, deciding to exercise instead of eating chocolate, finding a hill in Norfolk to climb and mastering new social media, like facetube as I rapidly approach my half Century
As I'm sure most peolpe are aware the RSPCA is a charity that recieves no Government funding and as such relies solely on the generosity of the public.
Any donation, however small, can make a really big difference.
