At the Royal Marsden, we're not afraid of cancer. We learn about it, talk about and most of all, use cutting-edge techniques to treat it. We're doing everything we can to help improve our patients' survival rates - whether it's new drug therapies, or better equipment or facilities. But researching and treating cancer is a lifetime's work. And that's why we need your help. A gift to the Royal Marsden will go to work immediately, helping the 40,000 people who come to us every year. Simply donate today and we'll do the rest.

My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I hope you enjoyed my website www.johnjspage.blogspot.com and you will have read that I succeeded in achieving my goal of completing La Marmotte and raising £20 for every kilometre of the ride, but since achieving that figure donations have continued to come in so I have now set a new target of £5,000. This additional sponsorship will please me and provide more support for the Royal Marsden. I will keep my blog active for at least 4 more weeks.

I started cycling in my teens and the picture shows me racing for my club the now defunct Uxbridge Wheelers.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

All money donated will be passed on to The Royal Marsden, I personally paid all the costs incurred in me undertaking the challenge and all the publicity material produced has been provided free of charge by my main sponsors St George plc.
