At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

Hi  Everyone,

Yes it happened, Karen and I  rode Tony(the tandem) from Lands End to John O'Groats. It took eighteen and a half days for us to ride 1080 miles, mainly on B roads and unclassified roads. We had a couple of mechanical problems but no punctures. Lands End to Bristol seems a very long way, for very little progress north. And the Shap summit was by far the hardest climb. The weather in England was great and it wasn't till north of Edinburgh that we had to don our waterproofs. A couple of wet days and one night. One sick ferry,(20 miles detour to the nearest bridge) were my worst days. Over all we were very lucky. Would I do it again, when?

Many thanks to all our sponsors, over £2500 for CLIC.
