On April 1 2019, Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now merged to create one charity for everyone affected by breast cancer. From research to care, we have people affected by the breast cancer at our heart – providing support for today and hope for the future. United, we have the ability to carry out even more world-class research, provide even more life-changing support and campaign even more effectively for better services and care. On April 1 2019, Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now are merging to create the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, united around the aim that by 2050 everyone who develops breast cancer will live and receive the support they need to live well now. Breast Cancer Care is a registered charity in England and Wales 1017658 and Scotland SC038104. From 1 April 2019 Breast Cancer Care will merge with Breast Cancer Now after that date all donations will go to Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now a charity registered in England and Wales (No. 1160558) and Scotland (SC045584)

We are trying to create awareness and sponsorship &nbsp;to promote this form of cancer which affects both men and women all over the world.</p> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 24px; margin-left: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; padding: 0px; border: 0px initial initial;">Our&nbsp;fund-raising aim is to raise a massive &pound;50,000 for Breast Cancer Care. John is planning to achieve this by running a Marathon in Antarctica&nbsp;. This Marathon has only been accomplished by 19 people from the UK and in 2012 it will only be the 8th time that this Marathon has been run and John will be there!!</p> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 24px; margin-left: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; padding: 0px; border: 0px initial initial;">Not only will John have to contend with the pressures of &nbsp;running 26mile, but also with&nbsp;temperatures&nbsp;of -12 to -20 degrees and with a strong katabatic winds rushing down from the Ellsowrth Mountains.</p> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 24px; margin-left: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; padding: 0px; border: 0px initial initial;">John has been devoted to raising money for Breast Cancer Care over the last three years. He has managed to raise &pound;12,000 so far by&nbsp;completing&nbsp;The London Marathon, New York Marathon and&nbsp;numerous&nbsp;half Marathon&rsquo;s in 2009. In 2011 he is planning to run the London and Berlin Marathon.</p> </span></p>
