The ride will be long, sore but very enjoyable. Although I am doing it for fun, so many friends have suggested that I ride for charity it would have been a shame to miss out on their generosity. I addition HSBC will match donations up to £500 so this is a very efficient way of supporting a worthwhile cause.  For the technical we will ride 1000 miles in 15 days and ascend a total of 85,000 feet.
